Executive Summary
South American company Cela Cosmeticos formed to distribute and market the Estee Lauder, Clinique and Aramis brands and Tommy Hilfiger, Donna Karan and DKNY fragrances in Chile, Peru and Argentina, Estee Lauder says June 28. The new company, located in Santiago, Chile, will be formed by Moure & Compania, which has served as the exclusive distributor for Estee Lauder in Chile for 18 years. Executive President Mario Moure will act as consultant to develop markets in Peru and Bolivia. Cela Cosmeticos will be headed by General Manager Monty Martin, currently Estee Lauder International exec director-finance and administration. Lauder will hold a majority share in the company. The transaction is to be completed by July 15
