Executive Summary
Cosmetic entrepreneur dies in his Riverside, Conn. home from complications related to brain cancer June 26. Farn, 65, started his namesake cosmetics company in 1976, which now distributes fine fragrance brands such as Gianfranco Ferre, Jil Sander and Vivienne Westwood. Prior to that, Farn worked at Yardley and Coty, among others. He served on the board of The Fragrance Foundation. His daughter Alison Farn, who recently was named president, will run the company with her husband, Charlie Leigh. Donations can be made to the National World War II Memorial Fund
