Tracking the online beauty market, the report distinguishes online trends, including the number of unique visitors at top beauty sites; beauty shopper demographics and behavior; customer satisfaction levels and preferred features; top online fragrance, skin care, makeup, hair and bath and body brands; and effective beauty e-commerce advertising strategies. The report reflects data from five sites such as eve.com, cosmeticmall.com and beautyjungle.com and will include beautyscene.com, ibeauty.com and planetRx.com in the future. Out of the 6,250 panel members invited by NPD and Media Metrix to participate in the Web panel study, 2,930 surveys were submitted
