P&G cuts Clairol jobs

Procter & Gamble will cut more than 1,400 Clairol jobs as part of phase one of its business integration, company announces Jan. 22. First-phase cuts will be non-manufacturing positions, primarily from Clairol's Stamford, Conn. headquarters and international locations. Of approximately 710 non-manufacturing jobs in Stamford, Conn., about 250 positions will be maintained. Internationally, P&G will make 815 reductions.
