Prestige fragrance sales advanced 64% (45% in constant dollars) during the second quarter on strength of Burberry Tender Touch, S.T. Dupont Essence Pure and Paul Smith Extreme fragrances, firm reports during Aug. 7 analyst call. Launch of Celine Oriental Summer and limited edition Christian Lacroix scents also benefited sales, company adds. Mass market sales grew 21% in constant dollars on acquired Tristar brands as well as Aziza and Intimate, firm says.
