Executive Summary
Exec VP Ian Cook to chief operating officer, effective immediately, responsible for all Colgate businesses excluding Latin America and Hill's pet foods. Additionally, Exec VP Javier Teruel is tapped vice chairman, assuming responsibility for reviewing, sharpening firm's worldwide strategy, Colgate says. Former COO Lois Juliber will become vice chairman, heading Colgate's global growth functions including global business development, research and development and information technology. Execs will report to President William Shanahan.
