Executive Summary
FDA is seeking comments on the Center for Food Safety & Applied Nutrition's fiscal 2006 (ending Sept. 30, 2006) program priorities, which will be used to develop the center's work plan, slated to be released this fall. Work plan will follow the format of FY 2005 plan with five sections, including "ensuring food/color additives and cosmetic safety." FDA anticipates there will be "considerable continuity and follow through between the 2005 and 2006 work plans." CFSAN aims to complete at least 90% of its fiscal 2005 "A" list priorities by Sept. 30, and will make progress on "B" list activities, FDA notes. Comments are due by July 19...
