Cosmetic Ingredient Review's 2006 CIR Compendium is available now, Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association announces. Book includes more than 1,200 safety assessments of individual cosmetic ingredients, CTFA says, noting compendium lists 766 ingredients found safe as used in cosmetic formulations, 408 ingredients safe as used with qualifications, 120 ingredients with insufficient data to support safety and 9 ingredients unsafe for use.
