Entry level course on fragrances will be available to part-time or holiday/temporary sales associates or "any salesperson new to the fragrance category" from mid-September through mid-November at 1www.fragrance.org. The two- to three-hour "fragrance 101" is a "valuable tool to help the sales associate engage the consumer in a professional & knowledgeable manner," covering the basics of scent ingredients, fragrance forms and layering, and perfumery, Fragrance Foundation says. Students will also be prepared to greet customers, start conversations and determine customer preferences, it adds.
