P&G partnered with marketing firm House Party to recruit 1,000 women to host parties in their houses; the women who came forward have been provided with educational materials, such as video tips from Clairol Global Color Director Brad Johns, so that guests can "make the best decisions about at-home hair color in a comfortable setting," the company says. The parties build on Clairol's other efforts to educate consumers, including an interactive Web site and shade selection tools.
