Shiseido: Firm expands its Benefiance anti-aging skin-care line with addition of two NutriPerfect creams targeted to women age 50 and older, based on research in "hormonal imbalances and their effects on declining skin functions." Products are formulated with Carnosine DP, a "skin-fortifying peptide that occurs naturally in the muscle tissues and is known to have anti-aging effects, including antioxidant and anti-wrinkle benefits," as well as vitamins B, C and E, which build collagen and prevent cellular damage, and anti-oxidant vitamin P, which "fortifies blood vessels and helps normalize the circulation of blood," according to Shiseido. Day Cream SPF 15 minimizes the appearance of age spots, patchiness and dullness with firm's "light-diffusing technology." The product features bergamot, orange, green and aquatic notes and costs $88 for 50 mL. Night Cream, which retails for $92 for 50 mL, "is effective for increasing microcirculation, minimizing the appearance of wrinkles [and] sagging and revitalizing skin functions during sleep."
