RIFM publishes three group summaries

Executive Summary
The Research Institute for Fragrance Materials releases group summaries Feb. 5 for ionones; salicylates; and related esters and alcohols of cinnamic acid and cinnamic alcohol. Paper containing summaries and related Fragrance Material Reviews is published in special supplement of December issue of Food and Chemical Toxicology. "These publications provide the scientific and regulatory communities with all the toxicological data available to RIFM on these fragrance ingredients," organization states. The ingredients were selected from high priority list of fragrance materials and will "serve as the basis for the dermatological and toxicological evaluation for the group," RIFM says. RIFM previously published group summaries and related FMRs for linalool and cinnamyl acid, alcohol and aldehydes; next it will publish group summaries on non-cyclic terpene alcohols, cyclic terpene alcohols and aryl alkyl alcohols...
