Executive Summary
Brief in June 30 issue of "The Rose Sheet" on Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers and Distributors Association's fifth CITY Awards for Cosmetic Innovators of the Year incorrectly abbreviated group's name. ICMAD presented eight awards at June 19 ceremony in New York. Product awards went to La Canada Venture for MD Lash Factor (Personal Care), Jordana Cosmetics for Milani Runway Eyes Shadow Kit (Color Cosmetics), and CBI Laboratories for RosaCalm Skin Serum (Skin Care). Three companies were honored for packaging design in personal-care, color cosmetic and skin-care categories - ECRU New York for New York Streets, Pencil Me In Cosmetics for "pencil me in" eye accent eyeliner pencils, and ZO Skin Health for Oclipse Sunscreen + Primer SPF 30, respectively.
