L’Oreal signs Banks

Actress Elizabeth Banks is newest spokesperson for L'Oreal Paris and its brands, according to Dec. 19 release. New print and television ads featuring Banks will debut in the U.S. in February 2009. "I am so honored to be the newest L'Oreal Paris spokesperson and to join such a distinguished group of women who proudly say the iconic phrase, 'Because You're Worth It,'" says Banks. L'Oreal USA President Karen T. Fondu says company is "thrilled" to welcome Banks as spokesperson, noting that she has "a natural charm and an incredible ability to captivate an audience.
