Pan-European wholesaler and retailer Phoenix said it had “significantly increased” its retail presence in Serbia by acquiring the Goodwill Apoteka pharmacy chain for an undisclosed sum. Subject to approval by the Serbian competition authorities, Phoenix will take over Goodwill Apoteka’s 138 pharmacies, increasing its network in the country to over 300 outlets.
