The majority of consumers in Belgium believe changing the law to permit the sale OTC drugs outside pharmacies will lead to lower prices, according to a recent survey. But Belgian consumer health association BACHI says liberalizing the market will have a negative impact on consumers in the long-run as they will lose out on the expert advice provided by pharmacists.
