Executive Summary
Anthelios SX Daily Moisturizing Cream with SPF 15 will be distributed through 6,200 CVS/pharmacy locations under a new partnership with the retailer, La Roche-Posay announces May 15. In order to promote dialogue between consumers and their pharmacist and/or skin-care specialist about UVA protection, the cream will be "strategically" placed at pharmacy counters and within Healthy Skincare Centers in select CVS stores instead of being sold in the general skin-care aisle, according to the L'Oréal division. The cream, which sells for $29 for 3.4 oz, is available through select physicians' offices and online at 1www.anthelios.com. Formulated with Mexoryl SX, Octocrylene and photo-stabilized Parsol 1789, Anthelios SX provides complete protection against UVB and UVA rays, firm says. The item was introduced in the U.S. last fall after receiving FDA approval (2"The Rose Sheet" July 31, 2006, p. 3)...
