Avon: Actress Courtney Cox is tapped as spokeswoman for Spotlight, Avon's new women's fragrance, company says Nov. 5. Cox embodies spirit of new fragrance as she "embraces the notion that every woman is a star in her own right," according to the release. Spotlight, a sparkling scent highlighting Italian bergamot and fresh mandarin pur, is designed to capture "growing excitement of the world's fascination with celebrity and notions of fame." Spotlight is designed by International Flavors and Fragrances and also features "deluxe naturals" from IFF's Laboratoire Monique Remy - hydroponic white freesia, tuberose absolute and mimosa pur. Juice is housed in a "glimmering, quilted" glass bottle with rectangular top. Cox will appear in Avon's brochure worldwide in support of the launch. Spotlight will be available in April 2009 for $22.50 in U.S. and launch globally in summer 2009
